Qlarant Foundation, the mission arm of Qlarant, has named the 16 nonprofit organizations selected to receive funding this year. Organizations were selected for their efforts to improve health and human services in their communities in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Texas, and the District of Columbia. Since 2008, Qlarant Foundation has awarded $8.15 million to more than 150 organizations.

The grant will enable the Light of the World Clinic to increase awareness and access to free holistic healthcare for underserved and uninsured individuals in Broward County, Florida. The Clinic aims to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits by providing primary and essential healthcare services, thereby alleviating pressure on public hospitals. The Clinic meets the urgent needs of the uninsured and underinsured and aligns closely with Qlarant Foundation’s focus on empowering healthcare initiatives for the most vulnerable populations in South Florida.
